Welcome to Central Car Rentals

Central Car Rentals is the only locally owned car hire company in Central Australia. We offer economy, intermediate and large 2wd as well as large 4wd vehicles.

All vehicles have limited and unlimited kilometre rates available.

We have economy vehicles available for local or out of town travel.
For large 2wd and all 4wd vehicles camping equipment can be provided. See below.

Maps and itineraries can be provided as our staff are highly experienced and passionate about the area.

Mining

We have 4wd wagons, utes and troop carriers available on request.

Vehicles are able to be fitted to mining specifications including reversing beacons, flashing light, second spare tyre, radio, high-lift jack, recovery gear, tool kits, snatch straps, fridges and camping equipment.

Pricing varies dependant upon length of hire period. Corporate rates available on application.

Camping

You can stay at some of the Resorts or if you would like to camp, we can supply you with everything that you will need to experience Uluru ( Ayers Rock ) Kata Tjuta ( The Olgas ) and Kings Canyon.
Sleep in a swag under a 5 million star motel. You will love the experience.

It is recommended that 3-5 days to explore The Rock, Olgas, Kings Canyon as well as the majestic MacDonnell Ranges with its 350 metre high cliffs and beautiful water holes to go swimming in.

Central Car Rentals will provide maps as well and give you an itinerary to help you discover the jewel of Australia.
